General Terms and Conditions (GTC)


1. Subject / Scope

  1. These GTC govern the relationship between Union Island Textil AG, with company identification number CHE‑106.941.516 (hereinafter 'UIT'), and the customers of UIT concluding contracts of sale with UIT via the online shop

  2. UIT sells goods on and delivers them to Switzerland, Liechtenstein at VAT prices included with shipping costs that can be free if a certain amount is exceeded without other expenses; then it also ships to the rest of the world, outside Switzerland and Liechtenstein, with prices without VAT and to the shipping costs the customer must add the DAP customs costs provided by law.

  3. These GTC may be modified by UIT at any time. The current version, available on, is authoritative in a specific case.


2. Conclusion of Contract / Orders

  1. A contract of sale between UIT and a customer regarding the sale and delivery of goods at specified prices shall be deemed as concluded only upon confirmation of the customer's order by UIT.

  2. To place an order, the customer must set up a user account on The registration of the user account will be confirmed to the customer by e-mail. The customer has access to his user account with his e-mail address and a password.

  3. Once the customer has added the desired goods to the shopping cart on and selected the payment method, the customer must acknowledge and accept the GTC. Subsequently, the order can be checked one last time and sent electronically. By sending the order, the customer is bound to his offer. Cancellations are generally not possible.


3. Rights of the Customer

3.1. Defective Goods

  1. The customer must immediately inspect the received goods, at the latest within 10 days of receipt of the goods. If this deadline is missed, any defects shall be deemed as accepted.

  2. Any defects must immediately be notified to UIT in writing or by e-mail in detail. In the event of defective goods, UIT shall have the right to replace the defective goods with non-defective goods. To that end, the defective goods must be returned to UIT. The costs for the return will be reimbursed to the customer. If a replacement with non-defective goods is not possible, the purchase price will be refunded to the customer.

  3. To the extent permitted by law, any further warranty and liability of UIT shall be excluded.

3.2. Limited Right of Return

  1. The customer has a right of return on unworn and non-discounted goods only. The goods in the outlet section are also deemed to be reduced.
    Should the customer wish to return any of the goods, the customer must submit to UIT a specific return request by using the form provided on the UIT website (link). After having obtained the explicit authorization from UIT (within max. 24h from the request), the customer must return the goods (including the original packaging) to UIT, using the same box. Returned goods must reach UIT within 10 working days after receipt of the goods by the customer. UIT will refuse acceptance of any returned goods should the customer not have complied with these return conditions.
    After receipt and inspection of the returned goods by UIT, the purchase price will be refunded to the customer if the goods are unworn and have been returned in the original packaging. Otherwise, UIT may refuse acceptance. The costs and risks for returns are borne by the customer.


4. Applicable Law / Jurisdiction

  1. These GTC shall be governed exclusively by Swiss law, to the exclusion of the Vienna Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) and the conflict-of-law rules of international private law.

  2. Subject to mandatory jurisdictions over consumer contracts, the courts at the place of registration of UIT shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes, disagreements or claims arising out of or in connection with these GTC.
