Tom Ford

Tom Ford is the first line of luxury men's clothing, footwear and accessories, founded in 2005 by the homonymous American designer.

Thomas Carlyle Ford became famous in the fashion world for contributing to the rebirth of the Gucci brand.

The visionary stylist in the 70s attends the Studio 54 disco, he knows Andy Warhol and his pop art, and many important clients of the exclusive club.

Tom Ford draws inspiration from the surrounding world, from art, from architecture, from their cinematographic experiences and from the Hollywood world, which influence the brilliant, eccentric and elegant style of the fashion designer.

In 2007 the collections of deluxe menswear, pret-a-porter and tailored, trousers, shoes, tailored shirts and dresses, inspired by the '60s and' 70s and the dandy style, revisited in a modern key.

Tom Ford, also re-launches the tuxedo, the iconic garment of men's clothing, revisited in different stylistic inspirations.

Presents classic high-end garments combined with proposals for sportswear to wear during the day, and a line of sunglasses with a distinctive design. The designer mixes Prince of Wales, stripes and squares, and contrasting colors.

In 2010 he also launched the women's line and from 2013 his own collection of fragrances and make-up.

Tom Ford designed for the brands Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent and in 2008 he also proposed as director of the film "A single man" and he edited the stage clothes for Daniel Craig in the interpretation of "James Bond" in "Quantum of Solace ".

His brand gets numerous awards, which are worth, among other things, five awards awarded by the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
