Fendi

Fendi is a manufacturer of luxury garments, founded in Rome in 1925 by Edoardo and Adele Fendi, which open, in Via del Plebiscito, a craftsman's workshop of leather goods and elite furs.

Over the years Fendi has built its history, its strength and its world prestige in the fashion industry, from haute couture to pret-a-porter.

The second generation Fendi together with the designer Karl Lagerfeld, begins the process that will change the fur from the elitist symbol to the head of fashion, with original materials, designs, colors and workmanship. The inverted double "F", first used as an inner lining of luggage, then becomes the logo of the griffe, which launches the ready-to-wear line before fur and then clothing.

In the 80s Fendi continues to grow, becoming a global lifestyle brand and ten years later, with the aim of regaining the artisan excellence of its origins, Silvia Venturini Fendi, creative director of accessories and men's line, launches the "Selleria" line , based on unique items, limited edition products, numbered and completely handmade.

Among its greatest successes the Baguette, which will stand out over time as a best-seller, made in more than six hundred models.
