Giab's
The brand Archivio was founded in 1985.
The idea of “dancing trousers” comes from an advertising image of “Ginger and Fred” a film by Federico Fellini played by Giulietta Masina and Marcello Mastroianni and the soundtrack by Nicola Piovani.
The image of “dancing trousers” became the symbol of a new brand “Le Brache Vip” which was added to the historical Giab’s brand.
“Le Brache Vip” was an innovative line characterized by new fitting, higher waistline, soft fabrics and fantasy pocket bags and tapes.
In July 1985 the new brand was presented during the Pitti fair and the image became the logo of a new line “Giab’s Archivio” in 2013.
